January Makeup Haul

Hey love bugs and welcome back to the blog!

Last week I ran a poll on what to write about and you guys voted on this makeup haul! Which I’m so excited to do!

So without further hesitation, let’s begin.

I’m starting with face products, so the first product I’m going to be talking about it my new primer!

Smashbox Photo Finish Pimer: $32

I got the smash box photo finish primer and I’ve been using it for about a week now and I love how it feels! I usually use the Tarte poreless primer but I really wanted to try new products and I’m pretty satisfied.

Milk Cosmetics Cooling Water Stick: $24

My next super cool product is from Milk Cosmetics and it’s the cooling waters stick. I was beyond excited for this product and I was so ready to cool my redness and awaken my face (because is infused with caffeine). I actually just put it on my face before writing this and so far, I’m a little bummed out. Maybe I had too high expectations but I don’t see that much change in my face and I do feel a little irritation. I’ll keep you guys posted with the end results for this one, but so far I’m thinking of returning it.

My last face product is my new setting spray! I had been using the Urban Decay all nighter all my life but again I really wanted to try something else. I was going. To purchase the Milk Cosmetics one but 22 oz for $38 is not who I am. Urban Decays is 42 oz for $42 which seems fairer to me and also I know it works. So instead I went with the Sephora brand which was a whopping $16! I’m excited to test it out and see the difference.

Sephora Setting Spray: $16

I also restocked on my Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in the color Chocolate and My NARS Concealer. I have another blog post talking about that makeup and what I do on the daily, I’ll link it at the end so you can check it out too.

Next, let’s move on to the newest pallet I got! If you follow me on Instagram you already know, I got the Tartelette Palette and I swear, I’m in love.

Tartelette Palette: $46

First, all of the colors are matte. With my hooded eyes needed an all matte palette, and this one is the best, plus it smells amazing. I love how I can play around with a natural smokey eye or I can have a whole plum themed eye. It’s so subtle which is another one of my favorite things about it.

ABH Matte Liquid Lipstick: $20

Last but not least the lips! I got an Anastasia Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Sepia. I love it so much! It’s somewhat of a brown mixed with a purple, I don’t want to say mauve bc it’s much lighter than that but it’s still a dark lippie. Also with my Sephora points, I was able to get a Fenty Beauty Lippie in the

shade, Griselda. What’s funny is I was looking at that color and saying to myself “next time” *sigh* then when I get to register and she asks if I want to use my points I see it! Same color and everything and I still have points left over! Which is the best part!

I also got a Sephora blue clay face mask and an angled liner brush from IT Brushes by Ulta which I use for my brows too.

That’s everything! I hope you enjoyed this post and leave me some love if you did or didn’t!

I’ll be coming out with some more stuff this week for you guys, leave me a comment if you want me to talk about something specific.

Until next week!

xoxo
